Over 11,000 political groups have spent $14.7 billion to influence the 2024 election, projected to total nearly $16 billion, according to Open Secrets. Super PACs are responsible for over $5 billion, with Kamala Harris’ campaign outspending Donald Trump’s $800 million to $360 million.  Open Secrets Director Sheila Krumholz stated, "Every dollar spent reflects the urgency of this election."
