A partial lunar eclipse will be taking place on September 19, 2024, alongside the full harvest moon, peaking at 10:35 p.m. ET. The moon will enter Earth’s shadow at 10:13 p.m. ET and exit by 11:16 p.m. ET, causing a slight darkening of its surface. This supermoon, about 222,637 miles away, will be visible across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, coinciding with seasonal harvest celebrations.
