📉 Yearly Inflation Hits 3 Year Low

Year-over-year inflation dropped to 2.9% in July 2024, the lowest level since March 2021. Consumer prices increased by 0.2% from June, following a previous decline. This easing, primarily due to stabilizing rental and housing costs, suggests the Federal Reserve might cut interest rates in September.  Fed Chair Jerome Powell stated, “It’s just a question of seeing more good data.”

At the “Crypto4Harris” event, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer expressed confidence in passing a bipartisan crypto bill this year. He, along with Mark Cuban, Senators Gillibrand and Stabenow, and other Democrats, endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential bid while pushing for effective crypto regulation to reframe the party as pro-crypto.
